Piotr Kowynia

Piotr Kowynia is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Management Board at Nest Bank S.A. since September 2019, after holding the role of Chief Risk Officer and First Vice-president of the Management Board. Prior to this, Piotr Kowynia worked at Raiffeisen Polbank from 2009 to December 2018, where responsibilities included leading the Risk Management Department and managing the Retail Credit Risk Department. Beginning a career at Fortis Bank Polska in 1998, Piotr Kowynia progressed through various roles, ultimately becoming the Country Chief Risk Officer. Additionally, Piotr Kowynia has held a supervisory board position at Dominet Bank. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from Jagiellonian University and further studies at Harvard Business School.
