Antti Ojala

Antti Ojala is a Program Manager and technology expert at Neste, with a focus on the development of new feedstocks from recycled fossil and renewable sources for the chemical industry since June 2016. Previous roles include Researcher on renewable and recycled plastics. Before joining Neste, Antti Ojala served as Research Team Leader and Senior Scientist at VTT, specializing in natural fibre reinforced biocomposites and thermoplastic polymer foams from April 2012 to June 2016. Antti Ojala began a career at BASF as a Researcher and PhD student, studying morphology and structure-property relationships in vacuum-processed organic solar cells from July 2008 to April 2012, after an internship that involved crystallization and phase transformation analysis in 2007. Antti Ojala holds a PhD in Chemistry from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Jyväskylä.
