Gunnar Hittorf

Gunnar Hittorf serves as the Head of Business Process Development at Neste since May 2022, where responsibilities include leading the development team to enhance business processes critical to Neste’s growth and efficiency. Prior to this, Gunnar held multiple roles at Cargill, including Planning Manager Europe and Supply Chain Improvement Manager Europe, overseeing planning operations across 13 locations and spearheading supply chain optimization initiatives. Gunnar's earlier career at Cargill included positions such as Plant Operations Manager and Commissioning & Start-up Supervisor for a bio-ethanol plant, focusing on operational efficiency, safety, and product quality. Gunnar Hittorf holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in production technology from the University of Twente and a VWO degree from Johannes Fontanus College.
