Owais Nooruddin

Owais Nooruddin is a highly experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer currently employed at Neste since May 2023. With a strong background in process safety, Owais previously served as Assistant Manager Process Safety at Cnergyico Pk Limited from October 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included evaluating flare systems and conducting dispersion studies. Owais also worked as a Process Safety Consultant at WorleyParsons, specializing in consequence modeling and hazardous area classification. Earlier roles included positions as a Process Consultant at SGS, a Research Assistant at Åbo Akademi focused on process optimization, and a Junior Process/Production Manager at Futehally Chemicals. Owais began a career in chemical engineering at Gamalux Oleochemicals and Kohinoor Soap and Detergent, and holds a Master's degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from LUT University.
