Taru Taajamaa

Taru Taajamaa is an experienced tax and customs professional with a comprehensive background in tax law and compliance. Since April 2010, Taru has served as the Head of Tax and Customs at Neste Oyj, where responsibilities include building an international department to support the corporation's renewable strategy and enhancing tax and customs processes through automation. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager in Tax & Legal at Deloitte Finland, where valuable insights into the Big4 market were gained, and Senior Associate at Roschier, Attorneys Ltd., focusing on various tax matters. Taru also held a position as Team Leader in income taxation at the Corporate Tax Office in Helsinki, following a Master of Laws degree in Tax Law from the University of Helsinki.
