Tarja Honkala

Tarja Honkala is an experienced professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as the Head of R&D Operations Support, Partnerships & Ideation, and previously as Head of R&D, Analytics and Quality Control at Neste since December 2021. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Stora Enso, overseeing Product Support, Packaging Materials Innovation & R&D and managing Product Safety & Purity. At Apetit Oyj, Tarja held the position of Director, Products and R&D, and has also worked as a Project Manager at DuPont Nutrition & Health. Other roles include Product Manager at VTT Expert Services Oy, Product Development Coordinator at Paulig, and various positions at Nestle S.A. Tarja holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Jyväskylä.
