Global Clinical Development Lead - Cardio-metabolism at Nestlé Health Science

Odd Erik Johansen has extensive work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Odd Erik is currently working at Nestlé Health Science as the Global Clinical Development Lead for Cardio-Metabolism since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Boehringer Ingelheim for 12 years, starting in October 2008, where they held the positions of Global Senior Medical Director for Metabolism (Diabetes) and Medical Director for Norway. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim, they worked at Bærum Hospital Trust as a Post Doctoral Clinical Researcher from January 2008 to October 2008. Odd Erik also worked at Novo Nordisk A/S as a Medical Manager from April 2006 to December 2007.

Odd Erik Johansen completed their education at various institutions. Odd Erik received their M.D. in Medicine from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway in the years 1993-1999. Odd Erik then pursued their PhD in Cardiovascular Diabetology at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2000-2007. In 2016, they attended a one-year Boehringer Ingelheim Global Leadership Development Programme at Duke University.
