Rachel Markowitz

Rachel Markowitz is an experienced professional with a robust background in technical applications and engineering. Currently serving as Manager of the Category Technical Applications Group at Nestlé Health Science since January 2020, Rachel oversees formulation, process improvements, and troubleshooting across various product formats, while leading cross-functional projects. Previously, Rachel held the position of Senior Scientist in Technical Services, where notable achievements included being named Technical Services Employee of the Month in December 2021 and contributing to the site being awarded Site of the Year in 2020. Earlier roles include Manufacturing Engineer in Continuous Improvement at Precipart, where Rachel developed key processes to meet customer and ISO standards and implemented Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Rachel began a career as a Hydrogeologist at Roux Associates, managing remediation projects and overseeing construction management. Educationally, Rachel holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Systems Sciences from Binghamton University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences from the same institution.
