Ana Cristina Tovalin is a seasoned sustainability leader with extensive experience in driving sustainability initiatives across multiple sectors. At Nestlé, from February 2021 to December 2023, Ana held several roles, including Sustainability Manager-Strategy & Deployment, where responsibilities included enabling the transition to sustainability in Mexico, measuring environmental impact, and implementing key initiatives. Previous roles at Nestlé included Sustainability Lead, focusing on integrating sustainability in operations, and Sustainability Coordinator, responsible for implementing ESG frameworks. Ana's expertise extends to advising on ESG matters at The Yield Lab LATAM and mentoring at the Massive Earth Foundation. Ana also served as Deputy Director for Climate Change and Sustainable Development at the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores de México, representing the Mexican Government in Paris Agreement negotiations. Additional experience includes Program Manager for Sustainable Agriculture at FAO. Currently, Ana is enhancing skills in public speaking and data science through ongoing education programs.
