Silvan Jampen

Silvan Jampen is an experienced legal professional with a robust background in corporate law and compliance. Currently serving as General Counsel Corporate and Head of the Sanctions Compliance Competence Center at Nestlé since September 2011, Silvan is responsible for designing and implementing compliance with global economic sanctions and providing guidance across corporate functions. Previous roles include Senior Corporate Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed company law, corporate governance, and finance law, as well as serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Schweizer Armee, leading investigations in military aviation incidents. Early career experience includes advisory positions at SwissHoldings, private practice with Nomea/Schaer Partners, and legal management at KPMG Legal, complemented by various legal internships and apprenticeships. Silvan holds advanced degrees in business and law from prestigious institutions, including Harvard Law School and the University of St. Gallen.
