Zumi Njongwe

Zumi Njongwe is an experienced marketing and business executive with a strong background in the beverage industry. Currently serving as Business Executive Director at Nestlé and Marketing Director for East and Southern Africa, Zumi also holds the position of BLSA Council Member since May 2021. Previously, Zumi has held key marketing roles at Diageo, including Marketing and Innovation Director for both Diageo SA and Diageo Meta Abo Breweries, and has over a decade of experience with Diageo PLC in various marketing capacities. Zumi's career began in brand management at companies such as Brandhouse and Kimberly-Clark. Zumi holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Psychology from the University of Cape Town and completed a leadership program at the Institute of Directors South Africa.
