Alessandro Balasco has more than 20 years of experience in web development and software engineering. Alessandro is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Nestpick since March 2023. Previously, they served as the Lead Backend Engineer at Nord Security from October 2021 to March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Lead Software Engineer in Residence at Oetker Digital GmbH from February 2020 to October 2021, where they led a team of 10 engineers in building a scalable eCommerce system.

Alessandro also worked at Plinga GmbH as a Software Engineer, where they were part of a cross-functional team and developed various software solutions. Additionally, they worked as a Development & Web Marketing Manager at Veratour s.p.a., where they oversaw website development and online strategy.

Alessandro's career started at Egolab s.r.l. as a Web Developer, where they developed websites and web applications using various technologies.
