Sr Devops Engineer IV at Net Health

Chris Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2022. Chris started their career in the United States Air Force as an RF Transmission Systems Technician, where they repaired tactical radio and satellite communications equipment and managed lower-ranking personnel. In 2014, they joined Grover Gaming, initially as a Software Developer, and later served as a Software Engineer Team Lead and Lead DevOps Engineer. In these roles, they designed and developed critical business software, integrated embedded systems, implemented deployment policies for embedded platforms, and led a team in designing and implementing the company's most profitable system. In 2018, they joined Clear Measure as a Senior Software Engineer, where they assisted leadership in establishing and building highly efficient and effective teams, built custom build chains, advised clients on containerization and technology selection, among other responsibilities. Most recently, in 2022, they started working at Net Health as a Sr DevOps Engineer IV.

From 2005 to 2009, Chris attended Greene Central High School, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study.

In 2007 and 2008, Chris enrolled at Lenoir Community College, although they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field during this time.

In 2009, they briefly attended Pitt Community College, focusing on coursework towards computer science without completing a degree.

From 2011 to 2016, Chris studied at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Chris obtained the Microsoft Certified Azure Administration Associate certification in December 2021 from Microsoft. In July 2022, they also obtained the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification from the same institution.
