Shuyu

Shuyu Ma has extensive work experience in data analysis and business intelligence. Shuyu is currently working at Net Health as a Business Intelligence Developer, where they standardize and automates analysis reports using R and Python and collaborates with the team to build the data model. Prior to this role, they were a Data Analyst at PointRight Inc., where they conducted statistical analyses, extracted data from multiple sources, and automated monthly reports. Shuyu also has experience in customer service as a Customer Service Assistant at Safeway Travel & Tour, where they provided professional customer service and generated reports. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Analyst at Softalgo Pvt. Ltd., utilizing Excel for reporting and database maintenance. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Zhaoxin Education, where they supported daily operations and prepared documentation assets.

Shuyu Ma completed a Master's degree in Analytics from Northeastern University from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics as well as a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the University of Toronto from 2014 to 2018. Shuyu also earned a Bachelor of Science - BS in Statistics from the University of Toronto during the same period. In addition to their academic qualifications, Shuyu Ma holds additional certifications. In December 2019, they became a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Furthermore, in August 2017, they completed the Patisserie de Base program at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa.
