Benjamin Alter

Benjamin Alter has a diverse work experience that includes roles such as VP of Mentorship at Net Impact, Operational Risk Management Intern at Sallie Mae, Employee at Hook Sports Marketing, and Maintenance Worker at Stoneleigh Golf & Country Club. Currently, they serve as an Undergraduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Virginia. At Sallie Mae, they utilized SQL and Power BI to evaluate databases, enhanced data privacy measures, and established an internal reporting process. At Stoneleigh Golf & Country Club, they worked on grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, irrigation, weedeating, and other projects.

Benjamin Alter completed their high school education at Woodgrove High School. Benjamin then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia in 2024. Additionally, they pursued a minor in Data Science from the UVA School of Data Science from 2022 to 2024.
