Dimitrios I. Doukas

Dimitrios I. Doukas has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dimitrios I. is currently working at NET2GRID, where they hold the position of Chief Partnerships Officer & Country Manager (Greece) since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Information Officer & Country Manager (Greece) from January 2020 to March 2023 and as the Head of Analytics & Country Manager (Greece) from March 2018 to January 2020. Dimitrios I. also worked as the Head of Analytics from July 2017 to March 2018 at NET2GRID.

Dimitrios I. also pursued their Ph.D. from February 2013 to May 2017.

Prior to their time at Democritus University of Thrace and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Dimitrios I. Doukas worked as an Associate R&D Scientist at ABB Corporate Research in the Power Technologies Department from September 2011 to February 2013. Dimitrios I.'swork involved the techno-economic analysis of energy storage solutions for large-scale solar PV power plants.

Lastly, they were a Member of the Executive Board at the European Youth Parliament Greece from September 2010 to June 2011.

Dimitrios I. Doukas has a strong education history in the field of power systems, power electronics, and control. In 2013, they enrolled at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2017. During their time at AUTH, they focused on research and study within the areas of Power Systems, Power Electronics, and Control.

Prior to their doctoral studies, Dimitrios obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Edinburgh in 2011. This degree provided him with further expertise in the field of sustainable energy and its systems.

Dimitrios I.'seducational journey began at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), where they received their Dipl. Eng. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Dimitrios I. pursued this program from 2003 to 2009, acquiring a strong foundation in electrical and computer engineering principles.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Dimitrios holds the certification of Chartered Electrical Engineer (CEng) from the National Technical Chamber of Greece. This certification was obtained in September 2009, further validating their expertise and professional competence in the field of electrical engineering.
