👨💻Austin Jones

Austin Jones has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. 👨‍💻Austin started their career at Southeastern Louisiana University as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant, where they provided tutoring and organized study groups to help fellow students. Later, they joined My Experience Before Tech and held various positions for six years.

In 2021, Austin joined Xima Software as a Software Engineer, where they worked on developing Xima's products and contributed to building a media viewing component and an email system following test-driven development principles.

Currently, Austin is working at Netchex as a Software Engineer II. Here, they designed and implemented a solution for a complex PDF zip file compilation and download service, which has had zero defects since December 2022. 👨‍💻Austin also played a key role in establishing unit testing standards and mentoring two engineers as a technical lead. Recently, they have transitioned to the position of Technical Lead, ensuring the development, quality, and release of code and supporting the success of their team members.
