Duclair DJATANG

Duclair Djatang has extensive experience in the field of network engineering and security. Duclair currently works as a Senior Network Engineer I at NetCraftsmen, where they have been involved in various projects such as network refresh at Exelon, designing and rerouting outbound traffic for Exelon's vendors, managing Nexus access devices at Exelon data centers, and supporting network design and implementation at UMMS and Capital Regional Medical Center.

Prior to their current role, Duclair worked as a Senior Network and Security Engineer at Now Technology Inc. for eight years. During this time, they led network infrastructure and design projects, handled day-to-day configurations, implementations, and support for all sites and core devices, and successfully migrated the core network devices from Cisco to Juniper.

Before that, Duclair worked as a Network Engineer at JMAT Systems LLC, where they provided network architecture design recommendations to customers, performed site surveys, and implemented data, voice, wireless, and secure networks for large enterprises.

Earlier in their career, Duclair gained experience as a Junior Network Engineer at Equatorial Communications Inc., where they were responsible for planning, designing, and installing network devices and solutions for small enterprise networks. Duclair also provided maintenance and support for customer networks.

Duclair's initial work experience was as a Network Field Technician at Gonago Telecom Sarl, where they assisted small and medium enterprise customers with troubleshooting desktops, laptops, local servers, printers, and scanners. Duclair also performed LAN wiring, wireless setup, phone system configuration, and internet connection setup for customers.

Throughout their career, Duclair has demonstrated expertise in network engineering, security, infrastructure design, configurations, and troubleshooting.

Duclair DJATANG completed an Associate's degree in Computer Science from the University of Yaounde between 1999 and 2001. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including CCNA Ent from Cisco in August 2009, CCNP Entreprise from Cisco in July 2012, CCNP Security from Cisco in February 2016, and Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos) from Juniper Networks in August 2014.
