Ennio Torresan

Ennio Torresan is a seasoned writer and director currently developing a sci-fi live action/animation hybrid at Maria Farinha Filmes since September 2024. With extensive experience in the animation industry, Torresan has held key roles at Netflix and DreamWorks Animation, including Feature Animation Director/Development and Co Director on "SPIRIT." Notable contributions also include Head of Story for projects such as "ABOMINABLE," "BOSS BABY," "TURBO," and the MADAGASCAR shorts. Previous roles feature directing and writing on "SpongeBob SquarePants" and directing "Disney's Teacher's Pet," which won a Daytime EMMY AWARD. Torresan's early work includes directing at HBO Animation and producing for APOCALIPSO. Torresan's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Awards received include the 1993 Premio Coral and Special Consideration at Annecy in 1995.
