Janan Barge

Janan Barge is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in technology and project management. Currently serving at Netflix, Janan leads the Promotion Artwork & Video UI engineering teams. Previous roles include engineering manager at Zapier, where Janan managed an experimental team focused on a high-priority product area, and at CallRail, overseeing multiple teams to enhance a marketing attribution application. Janan also held a technical project manager position at AT&T, managing complex project schedules, and has a diverse background at Google as both a software engineer and project manager, contributing to various high-impact projects. Janan’s career began as a middle school mathematics teacher with Teach For America and includes roles as a sales engineer and QA tester, showcasing a robust blend of technical and leadership expertise. Janan holds a B.S. in Science, Technology, and Society with a concentration in Computer Science from Stanford University.
