Janet Sohn

Janet Sohn (손난희) is an experienced talent acquisition professional with a robust background in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Netflix since January 2016, Janet supports global recruiting efforts for content creative teams across various business functions including Original Series Creative and Global Casting. Prior to Netflix, Janet held the position of Manager of Talent Acquisition at Paramount Pictures, where responsibilities included full-cycle recruiting for diverse roles and establishing partnerships with top business schools for talent acquisition. Janet also gained experience in human resources at 21st Century Fox and worked as a Recruiting and Licensing Specialist at Ameriprise Financial, achieving notable success in recruiting financial advisors. Janet holds a Human Resources Management Certification from UCLA and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside.
