Trung Nguyen

Trung Nguyen is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Netflix, where Trung has led the development of the company's first machine learning search ranking systems since November 2017, utilizing deep learning and reinforcement learning to enhance user experience for millions of subscribers. Prior experience includes a role at Adobe from March 2013 to November 2017, focusing on developing bidding optimization and impressions models. Additionally, Trung has served as a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June 2010 and held lecturer and visiting researcher positions at the University of Science Ho Chi Minh City and the National Institute of Informatics in Japan, respectively. Trung holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore.
