Principal Software Engineer, Advanced Development, Core OpenZiti at NetFoundry

Andrew Martinez has over 17 years of experience in software engineering, beginning with a Lead Developer role at Ruby Bay Development in 2003. In 2005, they joined Windstream Communications as a Senior Software Engineer, where they participated and lead a team of developers to provide an in-house web application framework. In 2013, they moved to Calero-MDSL as a Consulting Software Architect, where they planned and organized company-wide process improvements and lead teams of engineers to replace an aging distributed data acquisition and processing system. Since 2018, they have been a Principal Software Engineer at NetFoundry, working on a team to develop breakthrough networking concepts from the ground up via NetFoundry's OpenZiti project.

Andrew Martinez attended Prospect High School from 1997 to 2001 and received a High School degree in General Academics. Andrew then attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Software Engineering degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
