Danny D. Simmons

Danny Simmons joined NSAI in 1976 and has managed the company's Houston office since it opened in 1993. He was made President and COO in 2008 and Executive Chairman in 2022. Danny is experienced in all major producing basins of the United States and in selected areas of Australia, Canada, China, South America, West Africa, the Middle East, and the North Sea. His experience includes conventional, tight sand, and CBM as well as presentation of expert testimony in court and regulatory agency hearings. Danny started his career with Exxon Company, U.S.A., and has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
