Niels Drost

Niels Drost is an experienced professional in the field of eScience, currently serving as Programme Manager for Environment & Sustainability and previously holding roles as Senior eScience Research Engineer and eScience Research Engineer at the Netherlands eScience Center since May 2012. Prior to this, Niels worked at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from September 2004 to May 2012, contributing as a Postdoc and Ph.D. Student. Niels obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from VU Amsterdam between 2004 and 2010 and completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 1998 to 2004. Recently, Niels enhanced managerial skills through a Project & Stakeholder Management program at YEARTH Academy in early 2023.
