Peter Kalverla

Peter Kalverla is a Research Engineer at the Netherlands eScience Center since September 2019, with prior experience as a PhD student at Wageningen University & Research from September 2015 to August 2019. Peter also completed internships in meteorology at KNMI and CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives in early 2015 and mid-2014, respectively, focusing on subgrid-scale processes and the evaluation of weather models in complex terrains. Peter holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Energy meteorology, a Master of Science (MSc) in Atmosphere Sciences and Meteorology, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Natural Sciences from Wageningen University & Research, along with a Gymnasium diploma from Carolus Clusius College. Additionally, Peter served as Secretary/Chairman for WaHo - Studentenvolleybalvereniging from October 2011 to September 2012.
