Judith Bergboer

Judith Bergboer is an experienced forensic scientist currently employed at the Nederlands Forensisch Instituut, focusing on biological traces and DNA since August 2024. Prior to this role, Judith held various positions at Cergentis between December 2016 and August 2024, including Chief Operating Officer, Head of Services, and Scientific Account Manager/Principal Scientist. Judith's research background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital from March 2013 to September 2016, specializing in cilia function using zebrafish models. Earlier experiences at UMC St Radboud include a postdoctoral stage and PhD work in the Department of Dermatology, culminating in a thesis on Late Cornified Envelope genes.
