Roxanne Bongers is a dedicated research assistant currently engaged in investigating the effects of sleep on anxiety and PTSD symptoms at Nederlands Herseninstituut since July 2023. Prior to this role, Roxanne completed a clinical and research internship at Sinai Centrum, a leading facility for the diagnosis and treatment of PTSD, and worked as an assistant researcher at the University of Amsterdam, where research focused on autobiographical memory and depression. Roxanne's experience also includes teaching psychology to students at TentamenTrainingen.nl, conducting intake interviews for trauma victims at Slachtofferhulp Nederland, and supporting vulnerable populations as a homeless shelter worker at Leger des Heils. Roxanne holds a Master of Science in Research Master Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology, both from the University of Amsterdam, showcasing a strong academic foundation and commitment to the field of psychology.
