Steve is seasoned IT professional with more than 25 years experience in telecoms and humanitarian sectors with honed experience in leadership, global operations and digital business transformation.

Prior to joining WWF International recently, Steve served in World Vision International for 15 years in various global leadership roles.

His vast professional experience has taken him to nearly 50 countries across the world, utilizing technology and digital solutions to enable health, education and other development programs as well as supporting global emergency responses to help change the lives of those in need.

An ardent supporter of NetHope, Steve engaged directly and indirectly with NetHope throughout his 15-year tenure at World Vision International, one of the founding member agencies. He was a founding member of the NetHope Africa Chapter, where he served as the first Vice President. He also played a pivotal role in the establishment of NetHope Academy in Kenya.

Steve holds Masters and Bachelors degrees in Computer Science from University of Nairobi; Executive Education Program certificates from HaaS Business School, University of California Berkeley and MIT Sloan School of Management in addition to various IT professional certifications.
