Gustaf Ekelund

Gustaf Ekelund is a Swedish entrepreneur and business executive. Gustaf is the founder of WKNDTRP, a city guide and more to the getaways of the world, and Netigate, a digital marketing agency. Gustaf has also held senior positions at Saab AB and Hallvarsson & Halvarsson.

Ekelund began their career as an online strategist at Electrolux, where they worked for seven years. Gustaf then left to join Saab AB, a Swedish aerospace and defense company, as VP of Brand & Digital Management. After three years with the company, they were promoted to VP of Digital Management.

In 2006, Ekelund left Saab to start their own digital marketing agency, Netigate. The company quickly became successful, and today it employs over 200 people in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and the United States.

In 2016, Ekelund founded WKNDTRP, a city guide and more to the getaways of the world. The company offers a dedicated and handpicked selection of hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, shopping, and must-see sightseeing. WKNDTRP is active in Amalfi, Amsterdam, Bali, Bangkok, Barcelona, Berlin, Cape Town, Chicago, Copenhagen, Dubai, Florence, Hong Kong, Ibiza, Istanbul, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mallorca, Miami, Milano, New York, Paris, Rio Riviera, Rome, San Francisco, Shanghai , Singapore , Sri Lanka , Stockholm , Sydney and Tokyo .
