Mike Demastrie

Mike Demastrie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mike began their career in the U.S. Air Force as a Communication/Navigation/Radar Technician from September 1985 to January 1990. After that, they worked as an Avionics Technician at Midway Airlines from January 1990 to May 1991. Following this, Mike served as an Avionics Instructor/Training Manager at Delta Air Lines from 1997 to 2000. Simultaneously, they worked as an Airframe and Powerplant Technician at Delta Air Lines from 1991 to 1997. Mike then transitioned to software engineering, starting as a Senior QA Engineer at SilverStream Software from 2000 to 2002. Mike later became a Software QA Architect at Novell, Inc. from June 2002 to November 2005. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Software Engineering at Micro Focus -- NetIQ since November 2005.

Mike Demastrie has a comprehensive education history with degrees spanning various fields. Mike began their educational journey in 1983 at Holyoke Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts in 1985. Continuing their education, they attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1986 to 1988, obtaining an Associate of Science degree in Avionic Systems Technology.

In pursuit of higher education, Demastrie enrolled at Granite State College from 1993 to 1996. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Building upon this foundation, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Information Systems at Southern New Hampshire University from 1996 to 1999.

Finally, they pursued their passion for business administration and applied computer science by attending Northcentral University from 2006 to 2016. This endeavor culminated in the successful completion of a Doctor of Philosophy degree with a specialization in Business Administration.

Throughout their education, Demastrie has consistently demonstrated a commitment to expanding their knowledge and expertise in various academic fields.
