CMO at Netlify

Dorian Kendal is the Interim CMO at Netlify. Prior to their current role, they were a Systems and Process Optimization Consultant at Facebook from November 2010 to March 2012. In this role, they were responsible for designing the process and system requirements for a commodity management and forecasting system for the company’s server and networking components. Additionally, they were a member of the selection committee for multiple system RFPs including asset tracking, corporate IT asset management, and logistics.

Kendal has also managed the process design and implementation of a global, serial number based asset management/tracking program for manufactured and procured network equipment. This project involved every warehouse, data center, and networking site worldwide, and required the integration of multiple disparate systems. Furthermore, they have documented the worldwide Data Center, POP, and Satellite Assets Supply Chain process. This project examined and detailed the flows for 14 key sub-processes, involved interviews with over 30 people across multiple organizations, and identified key issues within each sub-process area.

In addition to their work at Facebook, Kendal has also performed an analysis of Google’s worldwide freight spend which yielded an estimated $6M savings opportunity. Dorian was also a core team member for the Global Infrastructure Group worldwide inventory stocking and forecasting project.

Dorian Kendal graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce.
