Tim Hallner

Tim Hallner is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Controller at Netlify since April 2023. Previous roles include Director of Finance Systems and Integrations, Director of General Accounting, and Director of Revenue/COGS Accounting at Flexport from May 2020 to April 2023. Tim has a strong background in implementing accounting processes, having designed systems to support revenue-sharing ecommerce ventures at Helix, where Tim was Controller and previously Manager of Accounting and Finance from October 2015 to May 2020. Earlier experience includes positions at Illumina as Senior Accounting Analyst for Revenue Recognition and at Ernst & Young as Senior Auditor in Assurance Services. Tim's foundational work began in technology roles, including as an IT and Accounting Intern at AWISgroup and a SQL Server Database Administrator at Closing Corp. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Accountancy from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
