Andrea Várguez Castillo

Andrea Varrato possesses a diverse background in environmental science and community engagement. With experience as a Tribal Coordinator at EBI Consulting, Andrea consulted with tribal nations to protect cultural and historic resources. Prior roles include serving as Clerk Typist II at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, where Andrea managed administrative tasks, and as Staff Scientist at Downstream Strategies, where data collection and project management were key responsibilities. Andrea's experience spans various educational and environmental outreach roles, including positions with the Carnegie Science Center and Allegheny College, and includes significant involvement in environmental monitoring and community education initiatives. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Allegheny College, obtained in 2012.
