Jeff Finkel

Jeff Finkel has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Jeff most recently worked at NetNumber as a Senior Technical Lead Operations Engineer starting in April 2019, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, Jeff worked at Mavenir Systems from July 2013 to April 2019 as a Technical Lead Customer Operations Engineer. In this role, they focused on the AT&T Messaging account, AT&T Voice Mail account, T-Mobile Openstack POD deployment, and Verizon NiB lab maintenance and testing. Jeff played a key role in the deployment and testing of 10 x SMSC's into AT&T production messaging network and led the AT&T MWI (Voice Mail indicator) account from an operations perspective. Before that, Jeff worked at Genband as a Telecommunications Senior Integration Test Engineer from January 2006 to July 2013. In this position, they collaborated closely with the design group and DSP vendors to write and execute test plans, identify problems, test, and verify solutions. Additionally, they helped maintain the lab environment for the design team. Prior to Genband, Jeff worked at Nortel as a Wireless Telecom Test Engineer from March 1999 to September 2005. During their time at Nortel, they specialized in UMTS and GPRS data networks, focusing on SGSN. Jeff wrote test plans, executed test cases, and worked closely with the design group to verify fixes. Jeff also traveled internationally, working with customers to verify software and hardware, deliver to live networks, and troubleshoot issues. Jeff's career in the telecommunications industry began at MCI Worldcom, where they worked as a Telecom Test Engineer from May 1997 to March 1999.

Jeff Finkel attended Texas A&M University from 1992 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
