Lucas Sears

Lucas Sears has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Lucas currently works at NetPMD Solutions as a Design Manager, where they lead a team of fiber designers and is responsible for centralized split FTTX designs for various cities. Lucas also performs quality assurance, process development, team building, and training. Prior to this, Lucas worked at Quanta Telecommunication Services as a Design Engineering Manager, leading a team of fiber designers and GIS techs. Lucas was responsible for designing distributed split, FFTH networks and handling as-builts. Lucas also provided monthly production reports, collaborated with construction counterparts and clients, and performed quality assurance on designs and splicing documentation. Before that, Lucas worked as a Design Engineer at Byers Engineering Company from 2016-2019. Lucas also gained experience as a Mobile Implementation Engineer at Apex Systems in 2015. Additionally, Lucas worked as a Resident Assistant at Southern Illinois University from 2011-2014 and as a Blacksmithing Specialist at Camp Thunderbird in 2013.

Lucas Sears studied at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Metalsmithing.
