Gwendolyn Lam

Gwendolyn Lam has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Gwendolyn started their career in 2013 as a Production Crew/Administrative Assistant at Hock Hua Tonic Pte Ltd and later worked as a Cashier/Logistics Assistant at Popular Bookstore Pte Ltd in 2014. In 2016, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Volvo Group and then as a Human Resource Intern at Kelly Services.

In 2017, Gwendolyn worked as an Admin/Data Entry Assistant at DBS Bank, and the following year, they took on the role of Admin/HR/Events Management Assistant at AIA. In 2018, they worked as an HR Intern at Coty.

Gwendolyn's experience in the HR field continued in 2020 when they joined Shopee as an Associate in the People Team, specializing in Regional Learning and Development. During their time at Shopee, they project-managed E-Learning courses and conducted thorough reviews to maintain courseware quality consistency. Gwendolyn also developed the Learning Designer Onboarding Programme, reducing the onboarding manpower required by 70% and receiving the Shopee People Team Values Star Award.

Most recently, in 2023, Gwendolyn joined NETS as an Associate in Human Capital Management and Learning & Organizational Development.

Gwendolyn Lam completed their Bachelor of Business degree in Business from Nanyang Technological University Singapore from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued Human Resource Management with Psychology at Singapore Polytechnic from 2014 to 2017. Gwendolyn attended Presbyterian High School from 2010 to 2013 and Northland Primary School from 2004 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained Google Analytics for Beginners from Google Analytics Academy in August 2020. Gwendolyn also acquired certifications in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Tableau Desktop, and Microsoft Excel from LinkedIn, with the respective years of 2020 for each certification.
