Courtney Long

Courtney Long began their work experience in 2014 as a STEM Camp Facilitator at Girlstart, where they worked until 2022. Courtney then joined the Austin Independent School District in 2016, first as a High School Mathematics Instructor and later as the Cross Country Head Coach and Swim Team Assistant Coach. As a Mathematics Instructor, Courtney developed and implemented a strategic curriculum that resulted in an 80% increase in material comprehension within a 4-month period. Courtney also served as a team lead and received recognition for their leadership excellence. As the Cross Country Head Coach, Courtney designed training resources, conducted performance analysis, and inspired and led athletes to achieve personal records and qualify for championships. Courtney held this position until their transition to Netspend in 2023, where they currently work as an Instructional Designer.

Courtney Long attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2012 to 2016, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
