Phil Archer began their work experience as an Account Supervisor at Leo Burnett in 1988. Phil then joined PepsiCo in 1992 as a Marketing Director and remained with the company until 1999. In 1999, they co-founded DigiPro/TrueCentric and served as the CMO until 2000. From 2000 to 2004, Phil was the SVP Marketing/Strategic Initiatives at Netspend. Phil then worked as the Director & Practice Head at Zyman Group from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, Phil became the Managing Partner at Wiser Partners, LLC, where they remained until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Netspend, a leading provider and processor of prepaid debit cards and related financial services.

Phil Archer earned their BBA degree in Marketing from the Texas McCombs School of Business between 1983 and 1987. Phil then pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing, Strategy, and International Business from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1990 to 1992. Before their higher education, Phil Archer attended the American School Foundation from 1980 to 1983, although it is unspecified whether they obtained a degree or field of study during this time.
