Early career experiences involved web development at National Healthcare Group Polyclinics and military service as an Infantry Specialist in the Singapore Armed Forces, focusing on equipment accountability and training facilitation. Alan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Security from the Singapore Institute of Technology and a Diploma in Infocomm Security Management from Singapore Polytechnic.
