Meg Tarquinio, PhD has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Meg has worked as the VP of Strategy and A&R at Nettwerk Music Group since 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Music Curation and Programming at Twitch from 2021 to 2022. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Spotify, holding positions such as Head of Curation Strategy and Editorial Product Liaison, Roots & Acoustic Lead. In these roles, they were involved in developing global curation strategies, designing and managing global curation groups, and collaborating with R&D partners to introduce new playlist formats and metrics. Meg also created the "algotorial" format to combine human curation and machine learning. Prior to their roles at Spotify, Meg worked at Northeastern University as a University Lecturer and Assistant Director of the Writing Center. Meg also has experience working at Tunigo, Cengage Learning, United Airlines, and Clear Channel Entertainment in various capacities.

Meg began their academic pursuits in 2002 at Northeastern University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Music Industry and Business Administration in 2005. Meg then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Literature at the University at Albany, SUNY, from 2005 to 2006. Meg continued their education at Northeastern University, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Literature and Cinema Studies in 2017.
