Louis Klein, PMP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over four decades. Louis began their career in the US Army, where they served for 21 years and held the position of Senior Operations Manager. During this time, they excelled in project management, operations, training, logistics, and personnel management.
After leaving the military, Louis worked at Tech Data Corporation as the Project Management Office Lead. Louis successfully managed various projects, including web development, networking, and client-server systems projects. Louis also developed reporting metrics and implemented MS Project Server 2003.
Following their tenure at Tech Data Corporation, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at PMSI Corporation. Louis was responsible for researching, documenting, and maintaining business requirements for client implementations, and they played a crucial role in reducing the average implementation timeline.
Louis then joined Healthesystems LLC as a Program Manager, where they established the Program Management Office and managed a team of business analysts. Louis implemented IT project and program controls, including MS Project Server 2007, and played a key role in determining system requirements and functional specifications.
After Healthesystems, Louis worked at WellDyneRx as a Project Manager, where they introduced Scrum PM methodology and successfully completed multiple projects. Louis also researched Microsoft Team Foundation Server for IT project management.
Louis then joined InfoReliance as a Project Manager, where they effectively managed projects from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Volkswagen AG as a Senior Project Manager, supporting mobile application development and vendor management.
In 2014, Louis worked as the Director of Program Management at Liquidity Services, Inc., overseeing program management activities.
Currently, Louis is working at Network Designs, Inc. as a Program Manager. Louis leads software development efforts for Federal and commercial projects and excels in Agile development techniques, team formation, and leadership, as well as modern web and cloud development.
Louis Klein, PMP, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Cameron University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1992 to 1993, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their education, Louis Klein obtained the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2010.
