Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith is a dedicated education and nonprofit professional with extensive experience in youth entrepreneurship and teaching. Currently serving as the Lead Associate for Southeast at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) since October 2022, Jennifer previously held the position of Youth Entrepreneurship Specialist at the Florida Afterschool Network from May 2021 to October 2022. As the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of The Giving Closet Project since 2016, Jennifer has demonstrated leadership and commitment to community service. Prior teaching experience at Duval County Public Schools from June 2005 to June 2018 involved creating engaging lessons and mentoring new educators. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of North Florida, earned in 2005.
