Luke Mason

Luke Mason is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Principal (SVP) in Private Equity at Neuberger Berman since October 2023. Prior to this role, Luke held the position of Head of Sales and Business Development for Investment Trusts at abrdn from May 2019 to November 2023. Luke's experience in investment management includes serving as Vice President in Closed Ended Funds Sales at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where responsibilities encompassed sales and investor relations for 23 investment trusts. Previous roles at J.P. Morgan included working as an Associate in Corporate Finance focused on sales and marketing for corporate clients. Luke’s earlier career features significant service in the British Army, where leadership roles included Infantry Platoon Commander and Rehabilitation following an injury sustained in Afghanistan. Educational credentials include a BA Honors in Geography and Politics from Newcastle University and a Queens Commission from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
