Brian Moran has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Brian is currently working as a Technical Client Director at Neudesic since October 2020. Prior to that, Brian held various roles such as Organizer, Evangelist, and Leader in the global SQL Server community at various community groups and conferences since June 1994. From November 2017 to October 2020, they worked at Microsoft as a Data & AI Specialist, where they were a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in Data Estate Modernization, Analytics, AI, and Data Science. Brian also worked as a Database and Cloud Solutions Manager at DB Best Technologies from April 2017 to November 2017, where they helped customers succeed on the Microsoft Data, Analytics, and Cloud platforms. Brian was the CEO and co-founder of Linchpin People, a boutique professional services firm focused on the Microsoft data and analytics platform, from April 2011 to April 2017. Prior to that, they co-founded SolidQ in 2002 and served as Managing Partner, leading the North American business. Brian started their career at Data Focus in November 1992, which was later acquired by Ciber Global. Brian also worked as a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting from August 1990 to November 1992.

Brian Moran obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Penn State University, where they studied from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they have acquired multiple certifications from various institutions, including Microsoft and LinkedIn. Some of these certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (obtained in October 2020), DP-201 Designing an Azure Data Solution (obtained in May 2020), Learn LinkedIn Sales Navigator (obtained in May 2020), Social Selling Foundations (obtained in May 2020), Social Selling with LinkedIn (obtained in May 2020), and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (obtained in May 2019).
