Richard Hartwell

Richard Hartwell, Ed.D., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and technology leadership. Since 2021, Richard serves as the Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Institutional Assessment at Neumann University. Prior roles include Associate Vice President of Analytics and Planning at Harford Community College, Director of Enterprise Solutions and Project Management at Lehigh Carbon Community College, and various leadership positions at Bucks County Community College, where Richard managed enterprise systems and directed the Information Technology Academy. Previous experience includes serving as Executive Director of The Hartwell Group, Inc., and holding a Regional Manager position at Intel Corporation. Richard earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Delaware Valley University, a Master’s in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
