Katherine Scangos

Katherine Scangos, MD PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of psychiatry and neuromodulation. Katherine currently serves as the Medical Director at Neumora, starting in August 2021. Prior to this, they held multiple roles at the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine, including Co-Director of the TMS & Neuromodulation Program, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, and Interventional Psychiatry Fellow. Katherine began their career at the University of California, Davis - School of Medicine, where they served as a Psychiatry Resident and a Post-Doctoral Researcher.

Katherine Scangos, MD PhD, completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology at Amherst College from 1998 to 2002. Katherine then pursued a joint MD PhD degree in Systems Neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2012.
