Shawn Hice

Shawn Hice is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in robotics and engineering software development. Currently working at Neuralink since February 2024, Shawn focuses on innovative projects for the nextgen team. Prior to this, Shawn served as a Senior Software Engineer at The Boring Company, developing a real-time robotics system aimed at enhancing developer efficiency. At Autodesk, Shawn progressed from a Software Engineer to Principal Engineer, optimizing data life-cycles and creating cross-platform libraries, while also managing teams on projects such as Autodesk Synthesis. Shawn founded Collidable, a web platform for CAD integration, and has a background in leading autonomous equipment development at Automation Futuristic. Shawn's early experience includes contributions as a FIRST Robotics Intern at Autodesk and founding Logic Core Corporation. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Portland State University.
