Yelena Bond

Yelena Bond joined Neuraptive in March 2020 as Legal Counsel Consultant and brings with her nearly 20 years of legal experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, providing counsel to clients both as in-house counsel and outside counsel. Yelena is skilled in structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including clinical trial agreements, master services agreements and license agreements, and counseling management on corporate governance and securities laws.

Prior to starting her firm, Bond Legal, LLC, where she drafts, negotiates and advises clients on all matters related to business contracts, Yelena worked as Special Counsel in the Philadelphia office of Duane Morris LLP and held positions of increasing responsibilities as in-house counsel at Unilife, Inc., PAREXEL and Endo Pharmaceuticals. While at Unilife, Yelena was a part of the senior management team and worked closely with senior management to help the company achieve its business goals, creating company policies, as well as structuring and negotiating wide range of commercial transactions. At PAREXEL, Yelena provided legal advice and counsel on regulatory law issues, matters relating to data privacy/HIPAA, informed consent, anti-kickback laws and FCPA and served as chief counsel to company’s Early Phase Clinical Units, as well as structured and negotiated wide range of commercial transactions with company’s global pharmaceutical and medical device clients. At Endo, Yelena represented company in acquisitions, dispositions, licensing transactions and other business deals, including acquisition of Qualitest Pharmaceuticals ($1.2B; created Endo’s generics division) and Paladin Labs ($1.6B; inverted Endo’s domicile to Ireland).

Yelena is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and Delaware and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law, Cum Laude, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from LaSalle University, Maxima Cum Laude.
