Tiago Baptista

Tiago Baptista is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as a Principal AI/ML Engineer at Neuraspace since February 2022 and an Advisor at Bright Pixel since October 2023, Tiago also holds a position as an Assistant Professor and Senior Researcher at the University of Coimbra, where contributions have been made since September 2010. As the Founder and CTO of Total Fun, Lda, Tiago has been involved in the organization since 2001. Previous roles include Head of Artificial Intelligence and Senior AI Engineer at Critical Software from January 2018 to January 2022 and Software Engineer at CRITICAL Software from 1998 to 2001. In addition, Tiago's academic journey began as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Coimbra from 1997 to 2001. Tiago holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra.
